“Window Tinting Sneaky Tips”

TIP: How to cut double patterns and save time!

If you are not using a plotter to cut your tint, you might want to learn how to handcraft your window tint patterns. You must first measure the side window you are about to tint. Second, you should cut the tint the correct length off the role.

You must place the tint on the worktable and face the release liner away from you. Cut the second piece of film and lay it exactly on top of the first piece on you worktable making sure the release liner is facing you.

You must use your water and soap solution to squeegee the two pieces together so they will not slide apart. Take the new one piece to the side window you are about to tint.

You can use techniques you are most comfortable with to trim out your pattern. Remember not to try to do all your cuts on the vehicle.
You can finish your cuts on your worktable for a cleaner look without creasing the film.

Once you have finished your cuts, you can separate your tint and you now have two exact opposite patterns you can use for the driver and passenger side windows. This method is easy to learn and saves time.
